Want Better Conversion Rates?

The Business Builder Volume 3 Issue 5

What do they need to believe?

Check For This Missing Ingredient

If I asked you what makes a great offer that sells, you’d probably list things like:

  • A clear value proposition - so people understand "what's in it for me."

  • Appropriate pricing - that reflects the value while giving customers the feeling they're getting a good deal.

  • Risk reversal - Guarantees, warranties, or free trials that remove perceived risk.

  • Urgency and scarcity - Limited availability that motivates immediate action.

  • Social proof - Testimonials, case studies, or statistics that prove your offer delivers results.

  • Clear call-to-action - Explicit instructions on what to do next.

(You’re pretty smart, I’m sure you thought of others.)

These elements appear in every marketing playbook for good reason: they work.

But there's one critical element that rarely makes these lists.

And without it, your offer won’t sell.

Beliefs.

I'm not just talking about believing you're telling the truth.

I'm talking about your prospect believing that:

  • This time, their problem will be solved

  • Yes, they can do the work required

  • The investment of their time, energy, and money will be worth it

Along with all of the other beliefs they need to have before they will buy.

If you want to boost your conversion rates, create marketing that instills those beliefs.
