Welcome to Separation Season

No, it’s not some weird reality TV thing…

I’m talking about the time of year when many small business owners go into “coast mode” during the summer months.

Note: Some people also refer to economic downturns as the separation system. That’s a different note for a different day.

While many will break the momentum they’ve built over the last 5 ½ months by marketing themselves and boosting demand for their services…

A few will take advantage of this time to separate from the pack. Whether it’s:

  • creating marketing assets

  • beefing up referral systems

  • innovating services, and optimizing operations to meet client needs

Separation Season can be a great time to gain traction. To get ahead.

And the good news is you don’t have to give up your time off entirely. You just need to be strategic about how you use your time.
