Want More Referrals?

Dan Sullivan’s 4 Habits of Referability falls into the “simple but not easy” category of advice.

Simple because they seem obvious and are easy to do.

Not easy to do consistently. Until you build the habit.

The first habit is "Show Up On Time." Yep, just being punctual and respectful of people's time. When you make the effort to be on time, it shows reliability.

Next up is "Do What You Say." Follow through on your commitments, big or small. If you say you'll do something, do it! It builds integrity.

The third habit is "Finish what you start." Avoid having many unfinished projects. Finish one thing before starting another.

Finally, "Say please and Thank You." Little courtesies like basic politeness and using people's names can go a long way. It's simple human respect.

Practicing these four habits regularly helps you build trust and credibility and makes people feel valued.

The type of person others want to refer and connect with.
