Battle of the Bans, Chat Privacy, and a Body Brewery

The Magic is in the Message

When a marketing tactic disappoints, it's tempting to blame the model or format.

  • The eBook didn’t work. I should have done a webinar.

  • The webinar didn’t work. I should have tried a book funnel.

  • The book funnel didn’t work. Let’s try podcast guesting.

But in most cases, it’s not the model that is the problem. It’s the messaging.

As Dr. Flint McGlaughlin of MECLABS writes:

The Essence of Marketing is the Message

Get your messaging right, and almost any model will work.

That’s why it’s easy to find examples of people who’ve succeeded with every model out there. And others who bombed using the same models.

If your marketing results are disappointing, look at your messaging before tinkering with another model.

And this…

Auto-brewery syndrome is a very rare metabolic condition that can be used to beat a drunk driving charge. If you can prove it - like this guy did. Link →
