Build a Better Offer

Before You Chase Traffic
Traffic (or audience) X Conversion Rate = Sales
That formula often leads to obsessing over ways to get more traffic.
Leading to thoughts like -
“I need to double my list.”
“I need to increase ad spend.”
“How do I go viral?”
But it’s often easier (and less expensive) to improve your close rate.
And the easiest way to boost your close is to have a great offer.
One where the perceived value to the client far outweighs their costs.
Does that mean you have to drop your price? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
When working on your offer, remember that your prospects’ perceived costs are more than the price tag of your service. In addition to money, their costs may include time, information, risk to their reputation, ease of switching, and many other things.
The more your offer tips the Value/Cost balance in their favor, the more your sales will increase.
Without having to spend a ton of money on “traffic.”
